This pendant and earring set features a bold raised Geometric design of red, white and black on a white textured background.
It has a matching bail to complete the look. It is designed and hand crafted by me in my Queensland studio and is intended. IT was designed and crafted in my studio in Queensland.
It has a very interesting texture and pattern which adds to the striking effect.
The texture is created with a fairly complicated process involving creating layers of coloured clay in just the right combination and thickness. A pattern is then impressed into the clay and then a very small layer is removed (which forms the net pattern) and placed on a separate piece of textured clay. This process involves both precision and patience.... with not a lot of room for error. The next step is to form the pendant and matching bail.
The surface of the pendant is gently curved, and it has a coordinating bail. The pendant is air filled so is very light.
These items cannot be reproduced exactly and so are unique. The earrings also feature the same raised geometric pattern and a gently curved surface. This pendant is sure to get some attention!
