Refund policy

This Returns Policy regulates the return of products purchased from Rennique online store ("we," "us," or "our"), which is based in Australia. If you purchase something from Rennique online store, you are considered to have accepted the terms of this Returns Policy.

 Eligibility for Returns

Defective or Damaged Products

Please carefully check your purchase when it arrives and communicate with us as soon as possible, or no later than 3 days after getting the product, if you find any problems with it or you have received the wrong item.

Return Process

To initiate the process of returning an item, please contact us at [email] within the timeframe indicated. Please provide the following information:

  • The order number
  • The reason for the return
  • Product(s) to be returned description and photo
  • Your preferred contact information (phone, email, sms)

We will assess the problem and work with you to find a solution.

 If there has been a major failure due to poor materials or workmanship, and the item cannot be used as intended or repaired, then we will offer you a refund or exchange for an item to the same amount as your original purchase. We will give you instructions about how to return the item if this is the agreed action. Our decisions will be guided by Australian Consumer law

If the item can be repaired, and the problem is not due to misuse or normal wear and tear, then we will repair the item. Please refer to our information on “caring for your handmade jewellery” for information on how to properly care for your purchase.

Occasions when you are not entitled to a repair, replacement or refund:

Under the terms of the consumer guarantees, Rennique customers are not eligible for a repair, replacement, or refund if:

  • Misuse or abuse on the part of the customer is to blame for the product's failure. Please see our “product care” information to learn more about how to take care of your handmade items.
  • For health and safety reasons we cannot accept the return of pierced earrings unless there has been a major failure not caused by the customer.
  • Normal wear and tear. Although we take great care in making these items they are not indestructible and may be damaged if not cared for properly according to our “product care” information. All items can be expected to incur some damage and deterioration over time.
  • Theft or loss of the item
  • We cannot accept the return of a Gift Card

 Change of Mind

We are not required under Australian law to give you are refund if you change your mind. We hope that you give careful consideration to your purchase before you select your item.

If you change your mind within 1 week of purchase please contact us to discuss an exchange or refund. In order for us to process this request all goods must be in original condition, have not been used, and with all original tags, labels, and packing intact in order to be returned. You will also need to provide proof of purchase such as your original order confirmation or receipt. We reserve the right not to give a refund or exchange for change of mind especially if the goods are not in original or saleable condition.

If you want to purchase an item as a gift please think carefully as jewellery choices can be a matter of personal taste. If you are in doubt about the recipient’s preferences we recommend you give a Rennique gift card instead.

If you are returning the item due to change of mind the cost of postage will be at your expense.

 Packaging and Delivery for returns

If we approve a return of goods  we will give you instructions for how to return them. You should carefully follow any instructions given. Return the product(s) in a secure package, carefully labelled as per our instructions, including all original accessories and documentation. All items must be in original condition.

Unless the reason for return is caused by a defect or error on our part, you are liable for the expense of return postage.

Proof of Return

We recommend that you use trackable shipping and receive proof of postage or a shipment receipt. This will be used as evidence if there are any problems with the shipping.

Returns Timeline

Returns must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date. Returns after this time period may not be accepted

The Refund Procedure

We will complete the refund within 14 days of receiving and inspecting the returned merchandise. The refund, if approved, will be delivered using the same payment method as the original transaction
