This show stopping long ladies necklace features 21 handmade beads with a stunning geometric design on both sides.
They combine beautifully with clear seed beads and unusual black glass beads to give this necklace a very modern feel. The matching earrings are gently curved and have a matching front on the earring post. The necklace is 37 inches (94cm) long. It does not have a clasp which makes it very easy to put on and take off.
The technique used to make the patterns involves impressing raised templates into layers of coloured clay with precise pressure to make sure there the imprint is just deep enough to allow each layer to form part of the overall pattern. The surface layers of the clay are then carefully "shaved" a little at a time to reveal the pattern. This process is done very slowly to avoid ruining the overall pattern.
